Arena Interactive is a multi-disciplined graphic design firm. We understand the importance of creating a balance and harmony between visual design, information design, interactivity, technology and the user. With a comprehensive understanding of identity and communication, our visual, conceptual and information design skills and experience allows us to completely fulfill the communicative requirements for each client with unique and successful solutions. We bring an unbiased approach to visual design void of trendy and dated material. We view each project individually and treat it with the same importance as our clients.  Design: Arena Interactive creates and maintains a high level of visual, conceptual, information and interaction design specifically tailored to our clients' needs, visions, messages and identities. Our capabilities are rendered in the following arenas: internet, intranet, corporate identity systems (logo, logotype and mark development and it's full application), print collateral (catalogs, posters, brochure-ware, magazines, books) and signage. In cases where requirements exceed our clients' capability, we employ our in-house department and technology partners. Capabilities include html, dhtml, xhtml, flash, xml, asp, jsp, php, cfm, adp, database incorporation/creation, information management and retrieval, systems integration, application design and deployment and more. History January 01, 2002 For seven years, prior to creating and becoming principal of Arena Interactive on January 1, 2002, Greg Simmons was creating national and international award-winning graphic design at studios in Philadelphia and New York. Throughout his career, his path ranged from print and corporate identity to Windows applications and interactive media. His vision, experience and unrelenting desire to create harmony between typography, image, technology and medium, brought him back to Philadelphia, to create this studio and help Arena's clients succeed in their goals. In October 1999, Greg made the decision to accept a position at R/Greenberg Associates in New York. As a designer at R/GA, he worked with Bed Bath and Beyond, Rockefeller Center, Oxygen's O2Simplify, Purina, About.com and IBM. As an art director at R/GA, he was asked to lead the visual design for the IBM account. For almost 2 years, he redesigned ibm.com twice (the largest global website reaching 78 countries) and designed and gave art direction for Ian Schrager Hotels, Zenith, Boeing, Ericsson, Sharper Image, AOL Time Warner, HotTopic, Activision and Citibank. Prior to R/GA, Greg worked at several design studios including William Longhauser Design and Mayer & Myers. Clients included The Galleries at Moore, University of Pennsylvania Law School, Institute for Law and Economics, The University of the Arts, Kean & Shapiro, Jamie Rothstein and Bozart Toys. In 1995, Greg recieved his BFA in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. After graduating, his involvement in the Graphic Design department continued with critiques involving interactive media.
